IMPORTANT: Ensure that your assignment meets all the specifications below before uploading or you not be included in the presentation nor will you get credit for the assignment.
After clicking the “Upload File” button, do not close the browser window until the upload completes or it will fail.
- Layouts: Design all presentations horizontally. Try to have your drawings fill the page with minimal white margins to make the most use of the screen. Use the fewest pages possible, but rather than overcrowd a page, break it up into separate pages.
- Image dimensions: 1920 width x 1080 height (i.e., landscape).
- File format: JPEG — Use the extension
.jpg(lower case only) or your upload will be rejected. - File size: 1 MB or less per file, maximum 3 MB if absolutely necessary (use jpeg compression quality of 8-10)
- File naming format:
<YourFirstAndLastName>_<ProjectOrAssignment>_<optional>.jpgDo not use any spaces or symbols other than those shown.
Example:MarshallVandruff_AwesomeAnimalProject_.jpg - Other: Include your name and, for midterm and finals, the semester & year somewhere on the document so it’s visible on screen during presentation.
- Meet the Deadline! The deadline is 10:30 PM the night before class meets. That is the drop-dead deadline. This is a mass upload that requires assembling a KEYNOTE presentation. If you do not meet the deadline, your assignment will not go into the presentation nor will you receive credit.
- CHECK BEFORE YOU UPLOAD. Revised uploads complicate the process. Check to make sure you have met all these criteria before you upload.
